Utilising the latest thermal technology, all of our thermographic surveys are conducted in full accordance with IEC TS 62446-3:2017 (ČSN EN IEC 62446-3), the international standard for outdoor infrared inspection of photovoltaic systems. Compliant inspection reports provide the documented, standardised evidence required to support manufacturer warranty claims, O&M maintenance decisions, and technical due diligence processes.

The global solar industry experienced an average annual production loss of 4.47% due to equipment faults and under-performance in 2023 — up from 3.13% in 2022 and 1.61% in 2019 — resulting in an estimated $4.6 billion in global revenue loss, according to Raptor Maps' 2024 Global Solar Report. 

A 10-year long-term study by TÜV Rheinland ↗ found that in 2015–16 over two-thirds of PV modules tested exceeded their rated output, but by 2024, two-thirds were delivering less power than stated by the manufacturer — highlighting the growing importance of regular independent thermographic inspection.
